Lewat presentasi online, SNK mengumumkan Neo Geo Mini akan diluncurkan ke wilayah Jepang pada musim panas tahun ini, disusul dengan perilisan global setelahya. Saat ini harga yang akan dibanderol memang belum ditentukan perusahaan, namun SNK mengatakan di akhir presentasi bahwa harga yang akan dibanderol akan mnebuat para konsumen “happy“.
Neo Geo Mini akan tersedia dalam dua versi, pertama Neo Geo Mini dan yang ke dua Neo Geo Mini International. Tiap versi berisi 40 judul games, namun akan ada 14 judul berbeda di tiap versi konsol. Penasaran dengan judulnya? Ini dia daftar lengkapnya:

Tidak cukup dengan Neo Geo Mini, SNK juga akan merilis Neo Geo Mini Pad, sebuah perangkat kontroler yang diciptakan dengan desain Neo Geo CD dan bisa disambungkan ke Neo Geo Mini untuk permainan kooperatif dan kompetitif. Warna Neo Geo Mini Pad yang tersedia nanti adalah warna variasi hitam dan putih.
