Sega mengumumkan akan merilis Sega Genesis Classics ke konsol PS4, Xbox One dan PC seluruh wilayah dunia pada tanggal 29 Mei 2018 mendatang. Nantinya Sega Genesis Classics berisi lebih dari 50 judul game Sega Genesis.
